Rubber Dam
- 1A thin, stretchable rubber that is placed around the tooth and isolates the tooth from saliva and bacteria from the oral cavity, enabling sterility of the working field. Sterility is the foundation of successful endodontic treatment.
Mechanical canal treatment
- 1Precise measurement - digital devices (apex locators) are used for precise measurement of the length of each root canal, enabling cleaning, disinfection and final filling to be completed at the very top of the root canal.
- 2Rotary mechanical instruments are more flexible and efficient than old manual instruments. They enable more uniform, thorough and faster removal of infected tissue and bacteria from the root canal.
